What is the spirit in which you’re going to live your life this year?
Wherever you are in your life now, it’s only temporary and life can get better. Change is a constant and we can use information about the Law of Attraction to deliberately create changes that we desire. Decide to have something better.
Whoever created ‘New Year’s Resolutions’, well done I say, extraordinarily good idea. I like to think of this opportunity for Considered Creation, while choosing feelings of eager anticipation, as, ‘New Year’s Intending’.
What you focus on expands (a summary of the Law of Attraction). We attract the fears that our negative thoughts focus on. When we choose better feeling thoughts, life gets better.
Be grateful for what you have right now and you’ll attract more to appreciate as this new year unfolds.
Many make resolutions, only to abandon the lifestyle change a few days later, while experiencing thoughts and feelings about themselves, and others, that don’t feel good.
Living up to Your Best Life includes making new decisions, turning from what you’ve learned you don’t want, towards what you do want and then continuing to choose thoughts that feel good, while flowing in the direction of what is wanted.
Consider that you might have patterns of thought that don’t best serve you, for example, role-playing negative ‘what if … ‘ scenarios in your head. Many are stuck in a pattern of victimhood. Become more aware of your thoughts and you’ll notice your patterns and hence you can let them go and free your mind more and more to truly live in the present moment.
Every day is a new day to make new decisions, new intentions, before various parts of the day. Daily Intentions that are in agreement with the ‘New Year’s Intending’. Setting forth a clear line of focus towards what you want and experiencing the essence of what you want, Now.
Why wait for a New (Calendar) Year to start? Yes, begin Now!
Don’t make a resolution if you’re resolving not to do, be, or have something! For example, “quit smoking”. You’ll only be giving that thing you don’t want more focus. What you focus on expands (a summary of the Law of Attraction). How can the best inspired actions arise from focusing on what you don’t want? So make life easier for yourself.
Use your thinking, your ability to choose how you feel, and your focus, to create. To create what you want.
Choose a place where you feel relaxed, comfortable, and peaceful inside, to write out intentions that you feel positive about, in other words, intentions that inspire you.
This isn’t a formula; there’s no wrong or right way.
Choose areas of your life that are of most importance to you and then imagine positive pictures, thoughts and feelings that absolutely delight you. You’ll be radiating out your intentions and Life will answer you, because what we think plus how we feel equals, vibrationally, what eventually manifests.
May I suggest that you consider the words of Joseph Campbell, ‘Follow Your Bliss’. Your heart speaks, listen to it. Make resolutions that feel good and that are about love and appreciation.
If it doesn’t feel good, don’t do it!
Write out ‘My Now Intentions About My … ‘, ‘About My … ‘, ‘About My … ‘. Examples of areas you might choose, Health, Body, Relationships, Finances, Work, Education, Travel.
Describe, generally and light-heartedly, how you want to feel about each area and how you intend to be.
For each topic, focus on what you want and imagine that until you feel new vigor and brightness.
An example. Rather than ‘Lose Weight’, focus on your body as you want to feel about it and how you intend it to be. Flow in the direction of what is wanted, rather than what is not wanted or the lack of what is wanted. Let your mind be free. Instead of seeking the negative by saying to yourself, “What if this doesn’t work out?”, say with a smile and feelings of positive expectation, “What if this works out as I’m imagining it?” You don’t need to explain and justify where you are now and you don’t need to tell the story of your weight / body issues, as that keeps you the same. If you keep saying it the way it is, you’ll keep getting it the way it is. The point is to let go of the thoughts / feelings that keep you stuck. Think plus feel, as you want it to be. Visualize your body looking as you want it to look. How does it feel to experience that, now. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Get into the feeling of what you want. Come on, emotion + energy! Your desire is done, given to you, now feel the desired result. What are you appreciating? Flexibility? Strength? Balance? …
Be specific, by including details, and, always then say to yourself / write out, ‘this or something even better.’
Don’t write ‘How To’s or ‘To Do’s or Numbers (gym three times a week, for example).
Life is a mirror reflecting what you are doing inside. Be the vision until you feel upbeat.
All that visualization is - practicing (got to love practicing!) the vibration of what you’ve already asked for in order to let in what you’ve already asked for. The visualization itself is not making something, the vibration while you’re visualizing, is.
As you then go about your daily life, you’ll become more and more aware that you feel inspired, from your bliss (rather than from fear), to take action, small steps towards what is your reality vibrationally. You’ll notice new possibilities more and more and take inspired action, becoming vision-in-action. In other words, you are law of attraction in action. Let the ‘energy’ experience I’m talking about here ATTRACT the desired result to you. Also attract people who support your dreams.
Say to yourself, “I’m in the process of attracting … … [what you want].”
Small adjustments in your thoughts / feelings, over time, transform you, your energy, and the answers you are given.
As you deliberately ATTRACT the desired result to you, the inspired action steps for you to take will become clearer and clearer to you. You’ll take action because you want to, because it feels good, rather than because you feel you need to or should do (comes from fear and beliefs of lack / limitation).
You can’t do everything, but you can do something.
Imagine how you want it to be and ensure that you imagine it with feeling. Pick exciting ‘pictures’ that instantly transport you there. Think, feel, talk, act, AS IF what you want is in your experience now. Choose to experience the feeling of Wish-Fulfillment and you’ll get more of what you want, faster.
Hang in there and focus on what you want. Hold the intention. Remember, you’re in control, lift yourself up to thoughts that feel better and better (better than being in the habit of repeating thoughts that create self-suffering, don’t you think?!). Clean up your thinking. Love and Appreciate more, yourself, and, others.
